replication in mysql to synchronize database

I configure master and slave to use replication. It will work and I succeed to generate master.info and relay-log.info. file on slave. My start slave command also run successfully even I can't get master changes on slave.

Is any addition process require after make changes master to reflect effect on to the slave ?

Is there any other way to database synchronization ?
