Hi,

I am searching for a good online project managment software. There are plenty of them though. So, the best way would be to get some recommendations. :-)

Lately I've found Zoho Projects.. does anyone use it?

Thanks for answers.

I'm using AgileZen and I'm happy with it. It implements the Kanban methodology and its very simple and effective. Pricing is not cheap, but they give a free account to free software projects.

I've used ProjectPier: http://www.projectpier.org/ but we are now moving to http://teambox.com/community

They are open source "replicas" of Basecamp. Teambox seems to be much more up to date as ProjectPier hasn't had a release in a loooooooooooong time.

There's also Trac, which I like because it ties into svn and gives you milestones, bug tracking, etc. http://trac.edgewall.org/

I should note that these 3 are all open source.

I am using VisionProject and am really happy with how easy it is to use even though it has quite a lot of features. We evaluated quite a lot of project management systems 6 months ago and found that this was the best for us. The good thing is that it also has document management with version control and helpdesk functionality included. This creates possibilities to make it an even bigger part of the daily work.

What kind of project management method are you going to use it for? This software is especially good for Agile, but still lacks a bit for strict traditional project management. We use it for both, but are looking forward to the better Gantt-functionality that will come later this fall.

Our web design and development agency built and uses Intervals for online project management. I suggest checking it out since most of what it does will be familar to you already.

I use VisionProject and am really happy about that. The best thing, I believe, is that the system is so flexible and supports Agile methods in Project Management as well as the basic ITIL processes for Support and Service Management (we are using Service Desk, Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management in the system).
