Netstat -s value interpretation

Hey everybody! I was checking netstat -s because every now and then in /var/log/message I get the famous "possible SYN flooding on port XX. Sending cookies"... And I see this value:

XXXX resets received for embryonic SYN_RECV sockets

What this value means?
