xampp - Cannot stop mysql after I start it

Hello all,

I am using xampp on windows XP.

After I start MySql by clicking start button, then I cannot stop it anymore. In order to stop mysql, i have to restart my machine.

I am using the latest version of xampp.

Any helps?
