I am looking for an app (preferably open source) that will let us "white board" a non-trivial application. (If it were trivial we wouldn't need to white board it:)

Any suggestions?

Have you seen http://www.scriblink.com/

Pros - Its Free, Online and doesnt need any subscriptions etc.

Cons - Your data is out of your control and hence would be concern especially in case of any sensitive information that you may be discussing.

Yes, indeed... but that got me thinking... I found http://coccinella.im/ which seems to work, at least I was able to connect up to my jabber server. (although I wish pidgin supported whiteboarding). There's also DimDim, but documentation was not helpful and looks like a PITA to build from source.

Take a look at CuteFlow. Not only is it free and open source, but it is also web-based! The only caveat is that you will need a machine to act as a webserver to host this application. You can find the installation instructions here.

If CuteFlow doesn't fit your needs, take a look at some other open source workflow applications here.

Thank you for this. I am looking at both this and the link you pasted in.
