Which bluetooth profile is needed for automatic pairing?

When I'm in my car, my phone automatically pairs with the car radio without doing anything with the phone. Other bluetooth devices only pair if I select the device in the phone settings.

Question is, which bluetooth-profile is needed in a bluetooth device to pair automatically?
