I Have a report like shown below.

delta
Now on top of the report, I need to display a text like
From: Alpha TO:delta
the column is already grouped. How can this be done in Jasper

Can you clarify where you are getting the values from?
Can you not calculate the max and min value before creating your report, then display them at top?

I am passing a Java Bean to populate the report and the field is a text field and not a number. SO can't really calculate before the report is generated.
