how to embed the whole <body> into a created new div with JAVASCRIPT?

I ever raised the question at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3528000/how-to-embed-the-whole-body-into-a-created-new-div-with-jquery, but inquired for 'jQuery', @Avinash be thanked.

But now I want to do the same thing with javascript coz I encountered a head-ache problem in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3615451/how-sys-application-javascript-error-suddenly-came-up , to reform DOM by jQuery makes <scriptManager> broken.

How to do the same thing with JAVASCRIPT but not jQuery? or, is there any approach can go through <scriptManger scriptMode='Debug'> using jQuery?
