Reliable, free, XML plug-in for Eclipse. The good ones seem to be for pay and most of the free ones seem to be either very old or in beta (or alpha or pre-alpha!) What is your favorite?

I don't need anything advanced, just a robust, honest piece of sw that does basic xml manipulation tasks.

ps: I like the ones that can can be installed given a url through help -> Install new software! It's so clean!

Thank you!

The WTP (Web Tool Platform) includes a fairly complete XML editor, in its Source Editor section.

See:

For instance, from "WTP Tutorials – Building and Running a Web Application":

+1 for WTP and the screengrab - stable, full of features, works well.

I have heard wtp is great, but I am building nothing like a web-application. Wouldn't it be a bit redundant? Make eclipse slower perhaps? (just wondering)... Or is there a way to select which functionalities to install for a given plug-in?
