Win7 quick launch bar icon size

Question

Hey!

I'm using Windows 7 with the good old quick launch bar.

Since I'm usually working on a big screen with a lot of open windows my taskbar is two rows high which works well for open windows in general.

The only problem is that the symbols in the quick launch bar are shown in one row wasting a lot of space underneath even though it looks like there is enough space for another row.

I can adjust the size of the icons with right click -> view -> small symbols

But then the symbols are just too small - but in two rows :-P

So does anyone have a solution that will either make my taskbar a bit higher or the icons a bit smaller (in height) that 2 rows fit?
