re-draw a gtk.Widget (GtkFixed)

hi! I've a GtkFixed area with any widgets into. I want to change coordinates of any components when the user press any button. How can I force to "repaint" de fixed area? I tested "fixed.queue_draw()" but doesn't working (seems)
