I am much more productive (and creative) in the afternoon and evenings than I am in the morning.
I know a lot of people like this - it must take a while for people's minds to wake up fully. I end up doing more admin-type work if I can in the mornings.
Starting at 21:00 or 22:00 through 04:00.
Basically, late at night with lots of junk food.
Anytime where you are free of distractions and can think by yourself uninterrupted.
I personally work best from 6am-1pm.
For me, early in the morning, after my son goes to school and my two daughters are still sleeping, until around noon when the demands of family overwhelm my ability to concentrate. And then of course in the late evening/night, after they are all back in bed.
It is mostly about when the least amount of distractions are present.
I tell my boss between 9am and 8pm 5 days a week, but naturally I think its from about 9pm til 2am after my brain is too tired to put up a fight!

I would hypothesize that that last minute is statistically the most productive timeframe, with productivity generally increasing as one approaches the eleventh hour, shortly followed by peak productivity during the last minute.
That said, the recommended best practice is to actually produce as much as possible during the comparatively underutilized run-up to the aforementioned eleventh hour and last minute. It is considered to be a form of load management.
