Using Windows XP and Word Perfect 10 to create my reports which typically are about 50 pages in length with photos and maps as exhibits.
The completed report is showing a size of some 53 megabytes, but the individual exhibits within the report add up to only about 3 megabytes total and the rest is test, which typically is about 215K. Why is the file size so large?
Of course, when I convert the report to a pdf file for emailing, the report file size goes down to about 9 megabytes, but still too large for my regular email server. I can't figure out where all the megabytes are coming from--could it be including part of the program itself within the file?
Thanks for your assistance.
