But also, seomoz.org har some good stuff I believe. Have a look at http://www.seomoz.org/learn-seo. Also, http://www.seochat.com/ has some good articles.
Just please don't believe all you hear/read, there's a lot of snake oil and black art out there wanting to make a buck on your desire for rankings.
