I've set up a VPN which provides a new DNS server. On my windows box, nslookup shows that it uses the VPNs DNS properly. A packet capture also shows that all data goes through the VPN, including DNS (verified by going to random websites and seeing no traffic other than to/from VPN host.
However, there is a website (flash app) which sends DNS requests through my local DNS server rather than the VPN.
Since everything else goes through the VPN, I want to know if flash apps have the ability to define network requests down to the interface that is used?
