What are some good books or resources for programming p2ptv?

A:

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot out there, so your best starting point is probably the p2ptv forums.

I'd probably start with a few good books on audio/video protocols. Something like "Audio/Video Protocol Handbook" or something on SIP communications. You might also want to look into materials covering the bit torrent protocol and peer to peer roster synchronization.

You can always start a book on the subject yourself :).

I have started sometime ago to write The World of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) (Wikibook) on my spare time, feel free to contribute...
