Siebel - Strange Error - ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("SIEBEL".""."MODIFICATION_NUM")

After I do a WriteRecord() in the Business Service, I'm getting the error as ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("SIEBEL".""."MODIFICATION_NUM") |An error has occurred writing to a record. Please continue or ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration if the problem persists.(SBL-DBC-00111).

Its very strange error. And this is happening only for few records where in i'm inserting around 100 records. I'm totally clueless.. Kindly help.
