Hello everyone!

Well, I'm kind of stuck with this. I am hoping one of you can shed some light.

I'm working with a cab file, and need to make some changes on it. It's not a standard cab file, though. It pretty much follows the standard for .000 file and the MSCF specification.

However, at the very beginning of the file, it has something else:

02 00 1E DB AF 4A 2E 00
00 00 38 7D C9 CE 0A 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
74 6C 66 00 90 D2 AF 00

After that chunk, it starts like an ordinary cab file (ie. "MSCF...")

I'm guessing there's some type of checksum or someting, but I'm stumped.

Any ideas on this?

Thank you very much in advance.
