I have a sharepoint 2010 farm solution and i have now problem accessing "http://mysite:2222/_vti_bin/listdata.svc". I am also not able to add service reference.
However it was working fine for some times. and suddenly it stops working..
The case here is, when i directly try to access "http://mysite:2222/_vti_bin/listdata.svc" it shows me error. But when i first log on to my site any page, it starts working. but still i can not add the service reference.
I think I am not able to see listdata.svc without authenticating. The problem is related to permission or anonymous access. I am not able to find the solution for my problem. It was working fine, but now suddenly I am in this error. Do anyone have solution here.
