how to find mouse hover in drawitem()

I m trying to draw hower item of CCheckList control.In DrawItem(LPDRAWITEMSTRUCT), LPDRAWITEMSTRUCT struct has details to draw. I want info that which item has mouse hover, so that I can highlight that item. One more thing, checkbox in CCheckListCtrl not are drawn before DrawItem..I dont know why.. And..checkbox click not giving any event..so check box state is not changing on mouse click.. Plz help if u know.
