I want to develop an application to make and receive call from computer through GSM Model. Is it possible? Any open source project available which I can refer for it? or Any reference to code is also welcome.
I am comfortable in MFC/Qt. This application will get used and developed in India for windows computers.

That depends on the brand and model of your GSM device. Quite a lot of them can be controlled via AT commands, including setting up and receiving calls. Consult your devices manuals.
Things get more difficult if you want to process the audio. That typically requires some hardware for connecting the devices audio with your computers audio, e.g. from handsfree interface to audio card.
If you can spend (quite some) money, an option would be to purchase something off-the-shelf, from companies like this one.
