Well it's not like I dislike MS products. Actually I became MS fan in last years. Silverligt + ASP.NET MVC + WPF + Windows Mobile 7 + Bing + IE9 + Windows7. I'm in heaven :)

And more over i hate Google and almost all Google products (i don't know why, but for me all Google sites\apps look ugly and primitive)

But when I had to chose cloud service (GAE or Azure).. I chose GAE... for me to learn GAE + Python (i don't know Python) is much more easier then learn Azure (i already know C#)

And here is a list of reasons why Azure lose to GAE:

1) GAE cost 0$ at very beginning! I could crate app, try it, show it to someone, make some test with test users. With Azure i have to pay from the beginning.. it's sad (And plz don't tell me that i could play with my Azure app on my machine... it's stupid... it's like "play with your self, until you have money for the real woman").

2) GAE have very simple file structure! I have add only two "cloud specific" files to make GAE application from the scratch. To make Azure application from scratch i have to create a lot of files and spend much more time.

3) GAE have much more simple API. I learn GAE from reading one book "Leard GAE in 1 second" (or something like that). I spend much more time to learn Azure, and dosen't undestend basis of Azure. Actually I don't undestend NOTHING in Azure.

4) GAE application deploy process is much more faster... to GAE i deploy simple app in minute.. in Azure i nead two or three minutes to deploy simple app. For me deploy speed is important. I like to work with apps in "real world" if you know what i mean.

And i just what to know, why Azure is so bad?

PS: for my point of view Azure is the first MS "fail" in last years.. TT
