Ideas for managing snippets of code in windows?

I am using a folder full of notepad files. Are there better ways?

You might want to try an application that manages snippets.

For Windows/Mac/Linux, there is Snippely. Mootools is the official blog post about it

For Mac OSX exclusively there is Snippets

If you use Visual Studio it has a feature designed for this: it's called 'snippet manager'
