So Im really wanting to do Database working as a job when I graduate. I've Gotten Books/CD's. Video Tutorials/Learning (Nuggets) and everything. I've had prior experience with MySQL for a Databases class and I absolutely LOVED it.
Anyways I know there are 2 types, Database Admins and Database Devs. I assume the Admins manage them where the Devs write code etc....
Anyways, taking a Look at TIOBE I notice T-SQL (MS SQL's choice of extension) is Higher Up, whereas PL/SQL (Oracle's) is a tad bit lower. However are the differences between them like THAT big as far as actual code. (CREATE/INSERT/etc.....etc...) Also anyone that has done Database work and has any suggestions on certifications....etc PLEASE feel free to let me know as I am very interested in the subject.
