I would like to play some .ram audio files. Can someone point me to a free player? Thanks.

The RealPlayer app, which is the source of .ram, has a free version.

Depending on the type of RealAudio stream, you may be able to open it in VLC. It's a great open source player that plays (almost) any audio or video format. Plus, no spyware/adware/bloatware (which RealAudio is famous for).
This wiki page indicates that certain RealAudio streams (perhaps older ones?) are supported without having to have the RealAudio software installed.

You might also want to try Real Alternative, a streamlined ad-free alternative.

Is this a programming question?
If so then consider using ffmpeg to play ram from your app
If not then the question isn't in the right place
