Pretty much like the title says..

I'm wondering where the place is to suggest language enhancements.

A place where the VB and C# language teams hang out?

A central repository of ideas for the future of these languages?

Something like that.

Microsoft Connect Visual Studio area is probably your best bet. It's a bug/suggestion repository for all of Visual Studio, .NET and the languages.

Of course, the other approach is: here; there; anywhere. Why not post your thoughts here, and let us all discuss them? It may be we know some have been discounted for specific techincal reasons; we may know some are in C# 4.0 or under consideration for another version...

Besides which - if it is a good idea, then you have a slightly larger voice if you have however-many SO users nodding along with you, and more direct ability to perhaps get somebody to look at the idea... (purely for observation you understand; there is a fairly formal/lengthy process to actually make language changes).

And there's a distinct possibility that a few MS developers may be SO readers as well - mentioning no names ;)

True enough, however proper discussion can be kinda hard to do here on SO.
Rory Becker
But not impossible.

So how do I phrase a suggestion as a question here?.... "Would X feature be considered a good idea?"
Rory Becker
Well, I can't see the twitter entries to know what the thoughts are about, but in general, why not?
Marc Gravell
I thought about posting a connection, than load it here letting users reproduce, comment and vote. but according to the FAQ of OS unanswerable questions shouldn't be asked...
