I'm currently using EveryDNS as dynamic dns. I'm trying to setup the MX records point to Google Apps . Because my ISP blocks port 80, I need to use webhops to redirect. I did exactly what EveryDNS mentions on their site and it works; having my www.mysite.com & mysite.com pointing to www2.mysite.com:8080.

The problem relies that when I setup the MX for Google Apps, I just can set it up to www2.mysite.com, which then Google never finds the MX records for my actual host (mysite.com).

If I try to add a new "A" record as mysite.com then I get that the domain is already in use. (by the webhop).

Is there a possible solution for this. clues?

I have a lot of difficulties understanding your setup, specially since you do not use real domain names so I cannot check with dig.

It looks like a hack very specific to EveryDNS (for instance, I have no idea what a webhop is).

More details are welcome.

I'd second that - MX records are for e-mail, but port 80 is for HTTP. The question makes no sense.

And it would be nice if the nolobes who downvoted were not too lazy to leave a comment explaining why...
