Looking for a free task panel component

I am looking for a free task panel component similar to the Microsoft Office 2000/XP/2003/2007 task panel with customization options (Ribbons, Customizable Toolbars, Menus...) for a free/libre open source project (FLOSS).

I have found two commercial components:

• Codejock.
• Component Source. Here the images.

I have been looking at DockPanel Suite, but I have found a few problems:

• There are no examples of how to use the component.
• Bad documentation. The documentation is old (2006-02-13).

Can someone help me and tell me any solution to build a task panel similar to the one included in Microsoft Office?

The DockPanel Suite example (located in the binary package) has a commented source code that can be found in the source package of the DockPanel Suite.

I don't know why they didn't provided the example with its source in a same package...

I used this sample to do all my development and i think it's enough. But i agree the documentation could be better.
