How to Implement Session Timeout feature in MOSS2007/WSS ?

Hi,

I wants to implement the session timeout feature in my sharepoint application. I tried to set same in the following way

Central Administration --> Application Management--> Configure Session State . I have set some time frame here and it is not working for me.

Please suggest if anyone knows any other way we can have the same feature?

It is just a .NET web app. You could always set it in the web.config. Or if you are feeling crazy, there is always the machine.config.

I have also same kind of requirement: I have one site and in that i want to set 5mins session timeout. Would you please tell me how can i achieve this? I am using WSS 3.0
