Does anyone know of any server monitoring software that will send you SMS/MMS messages to your cel phone on a server failure? Something like...

http://www.mobifi.com/

It sends you cel phone notifications when one of your servers failures for criteria established by administrators. This is a UK based company. I am looking for one in North America.

You could use a SMS Gateway to send an email to your phone number. Or use a Free service like Zeep Mobile and create your own alerts. Another way I have seen something like this is to use Twitter and their API to develop an alerting system, Here are some links on this approach. Link

I've used both Are My Sites Up? and mon.itor.us for SMS notifications. Both are free and worked well for me.

I don't know where either is located.

Mon.itor.us is looking pretty capable. I am running through its feature set at the moment. Thanks for the suggestions.

Depending on your provider, you can just send the SMSas an email: http://www.livejournal.com/tools/textmessage.bml?mode=details
