Dynamics RMS Point of Sale Open Source E-Commerce Cart

Question

I have a client that needs an E-Commerce site built that will integrate with Dynamics RMS Point of Sale.

I have been searching around the web and all the carts that I have found not only cost money (which isn't that big of a deal), but are all closed source (which is a very big deal).

At this point I'm thinking that it's better to pick an good open source cart and build my own RMS integration code, but I was hoping someone knew of a good cart out there that would handle it out of the box. If not, does anyone have experience integrating Dynamics RMS with an ecommerce store and have any example code?
