Where can I find good Immediacy CMS technical documentation?

I'm currently getting to grips with the Immediacy CMS platform and I'm finding that techincal material / documentation for it is pretty poor. I've looked through the documentation on the immediacy site but there only seems to be simple plugin configuration documents rather than a decent API / technical introduction.

Ideally I'd prefer to wrap my head around a few articles / documents rather than investigating through previous development efforts within the company in order to develop an impartial view on how things should hang together.

Can anyone provide me in the right direction for these types of articles / documents?

Hi I've worked with Immediacy for ages. Heres how I go about finding information out.

First stop the support site: try searching for stuff instead of browsing there is some useful info in there: http://support.immediacy.co.uk

Second, on the install CD that Imemdiacy came on, look in the 'docs' folder. Theres reasonable documentation about the API and some best practice notes etc....

Third, ask Immediacy support. They have often given me stuff that I need.

Fourth, use the Immediacy forum in the support site. you can generally ask questions, answers there and its your best bet to actually get in contact with the Immediacy developers.

Lastly, ask here! I used work at Immediacy and do consulatancy for clients with your needs, so I may be able to point you in the right direction :)
