I'm interested on test riding Visual Studio 2010 but I have limited resources ie. 2GB bandwidth per month. What's the minimum bandwidth I will need to download all the required infrastructure to get VS 2010 working?

At http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=922B4655-93D0-4476-BDA4-94CF5F8D4814&displaylang=en it's broken up into 700Mb chunks. So at two per month (you want some bandwidth left for other stuff) you'll have it in five months.
Get a friend to burn a DVD for you!

VS2010 has 1,13 GB. Maybe Microsoft distributed this version or next beta version on DVD later, I think.

Download the VS 2010 Professional Beta 1 Web Installer, run it, then carefully select the options you wish to install. That may limit the download to less than 2GB.
