Can anyone suggest the best fonts for the web application. Iam using gridviews and details view for most of my forms. Also can suggest the perfect color for the gridviews and webforms.
I an very bad in colors.

It's a wide font, but Verdana is pretty.. Color schemes really depend on the site and tone overall.. may even need to be taylored to clients.

Just go with something simple like Arial or Tahoma. For colors, use something like Kuler or copy the colors from a site you like.

Verdana, Helvetica and its rip-off Arial are good for on-screen reading. Use sans-serif as a fallback in case none of these are available.
The perfect colours for readability on a screen: black text on a white background.
If you do want something more colourful, make sure you keep the text dark, and the background light, for maximum contrast. Also have a colourblind person look at it.
