crdb_fielddef.dll could not be loaded

Question

I am creating a report based on an existing report in embeddable crystal reports designer. When I try to preview the report I am getting the error:

Failed to load database information. Details: The database DLL 'crdb_fielddef.dll' could not be opened.

The original report is working fine. It's the new one which throwing this error. Any ideas?

Here is an article from SAP Support that you can try. They say that the resolution is:

"This error message appears because Crdb_ado.dll is not able to load. Although Crdb_ado.dll is on the client computer, one of its dependency files (Msvcp60.dll) is missing from the client computer.

To resolve this error message, copy the file Msvcp60.dll from the development computer to the System32 folder on the client computer."
