I need to embed some audio in a corporate web site.

The user is aware they will be getting the audio, and will be looking for it.

I found several flash players, but nothing seemed to simply let me embed audio on the page with a play button without jumping through several hoops and creating playlists.

Isn't the default media player component in Flash enough? You just drop in the scene and set it's source to the audio file you want to play. By default it doesn't hide the controls so ppl can press the play button.

Are you referring to FLVplayer? I was under the impression it only plays files converted into flv format, and mostly intended for video. I have CS3 but let me know if you've seen something different.

afaik it can play mp3, mp4 (h.264) and flv files. At least when you use an Adobe Streaming Server it works like that (we're using that as a front end). I don't think it needs the streaming server though.P.S: This is relevant to both CS3 and CS4
