Hi I want to resync my appointments in MS Exchange's calendar, to email client calendar to avoid overflowing of meetings. This is easy using MS Outlook...but the licensing issue is too much.

Is there any ways we can do this using opensouce email client which is Thunderbird?

Thanks

I've only ever worked with solution by using Thunderbird with the Lightning extension. Came here in my search to see how people are doing it these days.

Thunderbird and Lightning do work well enough together if you just need to receive notification of meeting and be able to aggregate your calendars... But it lacked on the sophisticated integration to review the invitee's availability over the supplied range to determine if people could make a meeting.

Maybe you could use DavMail...? http://davmail.sourceforge.net/

Try the Microsoft Exchange data provider for Thunderbird Lightning from: http://gitorious.org/lightning-exchange-provider/pages/Home
