Tried google, but could not find good enough book/tuts on pascal programming language.So what are your recommendations?

I found several good candidates on Amazon by searching for Pascal Programming. Niklaus Wirth has one or two; he wrote the language. All of the books are ten years old.

If you want something more modern, consider Delphi

I like the "Delphi Developer's Handbook" by Marco Cantu, Tim Gooch, John Lam. It's one of the few books for advanced delphi developers.

A lot of basic information with simple examples can be found on the DelphiBasics website.

Learning to program in Pascal and Delphi is the book that my school use. It's actually very good!
