I was using a roaming profile, however we have since stopped using this. Ever since, every time I open a solution in Visual Studio (double click it from windows explorer) a folder called "Visual Studio 2008" is created in the same dir as the sln file.

I've tried resetting the Visual Studio settings, looked through the registry, and even uninstalled and re-installed VS... to no avail.

How can I stop it from creating this folder?
