how to avoid the invalid character when I export the chinese character from NAV5.0 to excel(office 2000)

when I export the Chinese character from NAV 5.0 to excel (office 2000), the Chinese will display as the invalid character, there is no problem if I export it to excel 2003,how can I avoid the invalid character when I export the Chinese character to excel 2000.
