Getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver Exception

Nothing complex here - you have mysql configured, but the jdbc driver for mysql either you never installed or never placed in the classpath.

Ignore/disable spring, hibernate, connection pools and just try this java code in a jsp or whatever.

Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver");

Until that works (eg file is in class path), you will continue to have sadness

Sorry guys i forgot to add "mysql-connector-java-5.1.10-bin.jar" under "C:\apache-tomcat-5.5.28\common\lib" assums that it will work if it is in application \WEB-INF\lib\mysql-connector-java-5.1.10-bin.jarBut code loads data at load on startupThanks
