tomcat behind 2 apache http server

I have this architecture: 

            http                   Ajp
[Apache A] -------> [Apache B] ----------> [Tomcat]

there is a way to configure [Apache B] to forward an ajp request in order to achive this:

             Ajp                  Ajp
[Apache A] -------> [Apache B] ----------> [Tomcat]

???
