Hi, Visual Studio 2008 isn't supported for previewing XAML files - this very old feature was removed for the final release of the Silverlight 3 tools.

Silverlight 3 and 4 do support XAML preview in Visual Studio 2010.

Thanks for the answer but I also get exception when I run the application so I thougt the exception were connected.

The stack trace above includes a 'CiderSilverlightImageHost' which is never used at runtime... is it possible there's a separate error at runtime [different trace]?
