I am planning to use bing map for one of my project carriculum projects. Could you please put some lights on the following questions?
1) Is there a .Net API Library for bing maps ?
2) Is there multiple styles available for bing maps similar to http://maps.cloudmade.com/editor
3) Is it possible to have different levels of details. (i.e, can we remove unwanted details like building names etc. We need to see only major roads and junctions)
4) Is it possible to add new markers programmatically ? (By marker, I mean a new location marked by the user)
5) Is it possible to add new markers through UI ?
6) Is it possible to have metadata about newly added markers and display them on mouse hover?
7) Using which ASP.NET control, I can display the map?
8) Using which WPF control, I can display the map?
9) Using which Silverlight control, I can display the map?
10)Is there any third party ASP.NET control for displaying bing map?
11) Is it free to use for curriculum projects?
