Is it possible to change the header of a pdf page to the same name as the currently selected bookmark? I'm using flying saucer for my pdf generation. Could you include an example? Thanks in advance.

A:

ITS still not clear what u mean by header..

and it only contains pdf version in syntax..(open any pdf with notepad and see its first line)

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/pdf_reference_1-7.pdf

NOW What i presume:- your header is windows status bar

  • IT WILL ONLY BE THE NAME OF THE FILE

IF YOUR HEADER IS THE PAGE TOP THEN

  • BOOKMARK I THINK MUST BE HAVING THE SPECIFIC PAGE ASSOCIATED WITH IT.

if u can explain ur question better than i may help u.

%PDF−1. 4

Y R U SHOUTING LIKE THAT? For emphasizing you can use the **text** *formatting* functionality.

I'm don't know why you're showing me the raw contents of a PDF file, I did mention I was using Flying Saucer to generate the PDF, which I can do. You don't need to create the raw code. It also allows you to add a header on top, which I can do. I just need a header that changes depending on the current section selected (Selected bookmark).
