Installing iOS 4 on iPhone 2G

Hi all,

I was wondering if I can install iOS 4 on my iPhone 2G. Is this possible? and if it is then do we need to do some extra steps or just upgrade it simply with itunes?

No, the first iPhone does not support iOS 4 at all. The hardware just isn't up to it.

No, it's not possible. iOS 4.0 only supports the 3G and above. (And it only supports multitasking on the 3GS and above.)
