Perform ATARead/Write to SSD in MAC OSX

Hi,

Please let me know how to perform ATARead/write to target device(SSD)in MAc OSX.Is there any API provided.Using NSFileoperation we can do this task but i wanna know How we can acheive this using ATAPassthrough in MAC OSX.I tried RAW disk operation in that case we can only read contents .

Please help me to find out a solution
