I listen a lot to English language technology podcasts. Being a non-native speaker, I realized that my English listening comprehension and vocabulary improved a lot because of podcasts. Now I thought - since I listen to technical podcasts anyway, why not pick some in other languages that I'm not so good at, which would help me improve those languages at the same time as keeping up with technology (rather than listening to a language podcast with stupid made up conversations). Of course, I'm not expecting such a variety and quality as in the case of English language podcasts. I'll be happy with anything technical of decent quality. I'm mainly interested in German and French, which I start forgetting after years of not using them, and Mandarin Chinese, in which I'm a beginner. But if you have recommendations in other languages, feel free to add them too.

Thanks!

Hi,

You can check these 2 podcasts in French :

It's basically Canadian french but they often feature guests from France so it's good if you want to practice several accents.

Oh man, québécois is so awesome! Pretty hard to parse for somebody who only studied French for a few years though (and I'm not listening on 2x as I do usually with podcasts). Thanks!
