Scott Hanselman's Hanselminutes.

Argh, you beat me to it by 30 seconds or so. I will delete mine, no sense in cluttering this page up.

Agreed, these are great. Good quality audio too, for the most part.

I enjoy DNR a lot, but c'mon...it is 2009. Can they PLEASE conduct their interviews over Skype/Google Talk/VOIP instead of a crappy phone line?
Matt Peterson
I agree based on my belief that podcast should be all about content and little fluff. Carl and Richard (the dot net rocks podcast host) spend little time talking about irrelevant things and most time talking about things that can make you smarter. Stackoverflow podcast is good but spent too much time on fluff-issues. The fluff issue sometimes apply to Hanselminutes; during certain shows and herding code. Some people like it and it is fine but I think a lot of it is a waste of time.

Here are a couple I listen to. Although they're not necessarily .NET related:

Neither is 100% .NET but my favorites are Hanselminutes and Thirsty Developer. Others have posted the first; the second is three (was two) MSFT evangelists in Chicago. Always fun, almost always informative.

Try the Stack Overflow podcast. Not explicitly about .NET, however quite good :-)

The french language podcast Visual Studio Talk Show is excellent and covers a broad range of subjects revolving around .NET, software architecture, and development processes.

+1 for astronomy cast. I've actually got into amateur astronomy because of it :) not that's it's got anything to do with .net :P

I listen to:

  • Dotnetrocks
  • HanselMinutes (which is where I heard of Stackoverflow)

I personally feel HanselMinutes is the more technical of the two. But Dotnetrocks is simply first class for staying completely up to date with what's happening in the world of .net from a fairly high level. Both are well worth listening to.

We just started a podcast about programming (primarily .NET, but we also discuss other programming languages/topics). It's called Crafty Coders.

I'm a big fan of World of .NET (http://feeds.feedburner.com/WorldOfDotNetPodcast), however they do not update regularly or seemingly on any kind of schedule.
