iPhone - window.pageYOffset always returning 0 (Zero)

Hello Experts,

I want to capture the vertical scroll position on iPhone (Webapp). When I tried with "window.pageYOffset", its always giving '0' irrespective of page scroll position, Does any one any clue how to get vertical page scroll position in iPhone?
